Wawa Walls of History

The public is invited to drop in to browse our pictorial display of Wawa’s past, enjoy a digital presentation, and share stories. We focus on several areas of interest in Wawa, Hawk Junction, and Michipicoten River Village. Take a closer look at our hey-days in the late 50’s to 70’s!

At this time, we are in the process of collecting memories (old photos, newspaper articles, and other memorabilia). We are hoping that all Wawaites, past and present, will help us out. Do you have something to share? We will ask that you sign a release form before we copy or share any of your mementos.

If you are in town, you can share with us by dropping in to 50B Broadway Avenue, Monday through Thursday from 9 to 4. We can scan and copy your pictures/articles, and return them to you, or we can pick up your package, and drop it back to you. If you are out of town, please email your contributions to info.nalcwawa@gmail.com, or send to Adult Learning Centre, Box 1387, Wawa, ON, P0S 1K0

Thank you to all those who donated their time, documents, and photos, and thank you, in advance, to all those willing to share!
